Dust Mites are reported as one of the prevalent indoor allergen. The Dust Mite
Screen Check provides the entire tool for collecting a solid dust sample from the
carpet of a home or workplace. The Dust Mite Screen Check uses a cone shaped
filter device called the Bio-Scan DM (or Dust Sock), which is to be connected to the
intake end of your vacuum cleaners hose for sampling.
Environmental Diagnostics Laboratory (EDLab), which is accredited with the
American Industrial Hygiene Association (AIHA), will provide a final report included in
the cost of the Dust Mite Screen Check. Concentration levels of dermatophagoides
Mite Allergen are reported in micrograms, and are compared to what is considered to
be normal.
Once EDLab receives the Bio-Scan DM for analysis, your lab report will be generated
