The air we breathe indoors constantly has millions of microscopic particulates (particles) of
various types floating around. Everything we breathe will eventually fall to a surface. Some
particles are relatively heavy in nature, and will settle on various surfaces quicker than others.
For example, the air youre breathing today may not be the same as what you were
breathing last month, last week, or even a few days ago.
Some of these particulate types can cause adverse health issues that can be allergenic or toxic
in nature (See below for common symptoms). The Allergen indoor air quality test kit is designed to
provide detailed concentration levels of multiple types of pollutants that can be found on
strategic surface locations in the home or workplace by utilizing a revolutionary sample
collection device called the Bio-Scan400. The Allergen Test Kit is ideal for allergy
sufferers, asthma patients, clean room evaluations etc.
Environmental Diagnostics Laboratory (EDLab), which is accredited by the American Industrial
Hygiene Association (AIHA), will provide a final report included in the cost of the Allergen
Screen Check. This report will show detailed information for each pollutant identified as
measured in Counts/cm², and will have guidelines for what is considered to be a normal
manageable level, as compared to total levels of each pollutant found on the Bio-Scan400.
Once EDLab receives the Bio-Scan400 for analysis, your lab report will be generated and
emailed within 3-5 business days.
Common Symptoms to look for:Eye irritation, coughing, sneezing, respiratory issues, headache, lethargy, fatigue,
